I am also from Puerto Rico, my connection to the Febus family comes from my mother. Her father's name was Pascual, for some reason his surname got mixed up when registered and ended up as Pagan, but the family has always kept the memory of the real surname "Febus". My grandfather was from Corozal. I'm afraid I don't have any other information but I will try to reach my aunt and ask her if she remembers anything. I'm really curious as to the origin of the surname and how it got to PR, it's quite uncommon.
