I do not know if this is of any help, but my father was from LaJuanta CO or lived there a long time died there in the early 70's His name was Charles F Phebus Sr.but he used the name Frank (middle name)his parents too lived in LaJuanta CO. and it seems that there may be some connection as I remember very vagley some stories about MO and Kansas.
