I am from mexico searching for relatives in Spain with the surname "Alvarez de la Cruz" from Extremadura. If you know something I will apreciate because I am trying to make a deep investigation about this family. The only information that I have is the first spanish that came to mexico and his name was Cristobal Alvarez de la Cruz arrived in Atotonilco el Grande in Jalisco, Mexico around 1700.
