We are also from PEI, mty g.grandfather was John who m. in Miramichi, NB. Christine McClean moved to Nouvelle in The Gaspé 1835
I have all his records of his siblings who remained in PEI but not the emigrants first name, was it Donald or Thomas?.
One Thomas who lived neighbor to John in Nouvelle, we assume is his brother.
He stated while in Miramichi in 1829 that he was 30 years of age, a native of Tipperary, that he had been living in NB for seven years. If he was john's brother and born inn Canada they were here in 1799.
Any information you may possess and willing to share would be appreciated.
