---------------------------------------- "Odessa was about the same age as my sister Mildred Lee Brown Houston born 8/20/1913 and Eva Lee was born 11/29/1909 I recall mother laughing about Lillian and Eva Lee and Odessa visiting one day. Lillian and Mother thought the 3 little girls were playing in the yard but they heard the chickens making a loud squawking racket in the hen house (a long shed). When they got to the hen house the door was closed and those 3 tiny girls Mildred, Odessa and Eva Lee were busy choosing best feathers for playing Indians. Tail feathers came out quite easily. Mother laughed but said egg production was reduced for a while" LFBG ---------------------------------------
